Question

Where can I look for disability-related study support in higher education in England?

Students may know that support exists but not whether it comes from their university, student finance, a disability service or another route, and application rules can change between academic years.

Current understanding

Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) is the current Student Finance England/GOV.UK route in the ND Oracle catalogue for disability-related study costs in higher education. The current rules cover a range of disability, health and specific-learning-difficulty contexts, but eligibility, evidence requirements and application processes depend on the academic year and individual circumstances. University disability services and other support can exist alongside DSA.
